Just a little
about me...
I have had many
different jobs (careers) throughout my life, but being wife and mother are
my best and ultimate favorites! I was raised in a Christian home,
which has been a tremendous blessing. I was born again (saved)
when I was 7 years old. I do not know what I would have done without
Christ as my Lord and Savior. HE has been my strength, my protection
and provider, in all times and in all ways. I do love HIM so!!
I have so
many different things I enjoy doing. I thoroughly enjoy all kinds
of old-time skills. Some that I am especially fond of are: knitting
spinning, making rag rugs, gardening, canning, and sewing. Socks
are one of my favorite knitting projects. My family has fun laughing
at some of my first pairs of socks. I was just a little too creative
for my own good. However, I must say, on those cold, wintry mornings,
guess what socks Emilee has on? You've got it... the overly, creative
hand-knit wool socks I made for her. LOL!
I truly enjoy
Father's beautiful, creative handiwork of the great outdoors.
Just to go for a walk in the mountains, or down a country lane,
is so refreshing and peaceful. My greatest joy is to go for a
walk with my family and just share some of our time together.
Now, that is a true gift from God!

The love of family is such a pure and rich gift that God has provided.
I do believe that is why the adversary works so hard to destroy
the heart of the home--the family. We must be so diligent to protect
and support one another in true care and compassion, for this
blessing of family it is a rare jewel. This is such a part of Titus
2 Ministry--the family, knowing God and His provisions
for families! That is why I truly am blessed to share with you,
our Titus 2 Ministry and Genteel
Girlhood visitors. I want to encourage you to settle in
the peaceful gifts of God. I hope that I can be part in this special
calling of God, to uplift you and help you along the way, as we
all travel HOME!
The below scripture verses have become one of my favorite passages.
Our Heavenly Father promises, HE will restore to us that which
has been lost. HE will provide for us, and we shall never
be ashamed! Be glad then, ye children
of Zion, and rejoice in the
LORD your God: for he hath given you
the former rain moderately,
and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain,
and the latter rain in the first month. And the floors shall be
full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil.
And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten,
the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great
army which I sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be
satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath
dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.
And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I
am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never
be ashamed. Joel 2:23-27
