I count it a blessing from the Lord to be able to share a bit
about myself with you. Thanks so much for stopping by...
First of
all, my name is Emilee, and I'm 22 years old. I accepted Christ
as my personal Lord and Savior when I was five years old. Even
though I came to the saving knowledge of Christ at a young age,
my life has been revolutionized. I can't imagine what I would
have done without Him during my adolescence and teenage years!
I never have to fear being without Him, for He promises to never
leave or forsake me. I look forward to each and every new day
knowing I don't have to walk alone! I have divine assurance
that God, the Creator and Sustainer of the universe, loves and
cares about me! To top that off, His heart's desire is to spend
one-on-one time with me, His daughter! Now, that's an awesome
blessing that this girl clings to! :)

My interests are about as varied as the colors in a summer sunrise
and sunset! I love trying my hand at just about any art form,
historic and contemporary... If I haven't tried it yet... it's
on my to-do list! Just to name a few of those art forms: spinning,
weaving, sewing, crochet, embroidery, cross-stitch, painting,
drawing... and the list goes o-n and o-n. :) I also love photography.
One of my favorite photo shoots is in the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
My family and I have made a lot of special memories during our
walks in the country and hikes in the mountains. Spending time
enjoying God's creation is one of my favorite "hobbies".
Speaking of which, one of my passions is gardening (veggies,
flowers & herbs!). All of the old time skills, and even
my love of gardening, are a blessed heritage that has been passed
down from my Grandfathers and Grandmothers! I've still got a
lot to learn, but I'm enjoying the journey. I look forward to
the day when I have my own family, so I may pass these skills
on to my children! Thanks Grandpa and Grandma for leaving a
legacy of faith, family and fun! ;)
Music? Well,
I'll admit I've tried my hand at several instruments, yet I've
never "perfected" playing one of them. Although, I've
come to learn that personal, musical perfection isn't the aim,
instead praising God in Spirit and in Truth! I love singing
along with my favorite Contemporary Christian radio stations
and CDs, praising God all the while, as I complete the jobs
He's given me! I also love the toe-tappin' sounds of (Christian)
Bluegrass!
Something
unique about me... I enjoy studying and participating in Biblical,
Davidic (Hebrew) dance, (2 Sam. 6:14, Ps. 149:3, Ps. 150:4,
Ec. 3:4 & Jer. 31:13) which includes the use of banners
and flags (Ps. 20:5, Ps. 60:4-5, So. 2:4 & 6:4). I've been
active in this form of ministry for about 6 years now. God has
opened doors for my family and I to teach dance, and the Hebrew
roots of Jesus, in various Christian congregations.
I'm
also a homeschool graduate. I thank God for those homeschooling
years! Wow! The experiences I had during those years have had
such an incredible, lasting impact upon my life. I'm so thankful
that my parents were obedient to the call of God and took me
out of the public school system! I know my life would have never
been the same, if they hadn't been willing to be obedient. I'm
confident to say that I wouldn't be who I am today, if it hadn't
been for the great, spiritual lessons I learned as a homeschooler!
When graduation
rolled around, so did those questions that every soon-to-be
high school graduate anticipates, "So, what are you going
to do after graduation?!" My answer, "Uh, still praying
on that one!" I really encourage all those brothers and
sisters on the threshold of high school graduation to seek the
face of God for His will for your life. Don't just lean on what
you think He has in mind... seek Him until you can
run with confidence, because you're in the center of His
will! A year after graduation, God revealed the university He
wanted me to attend. The best part--I could attend classes in
my own home! I received my Bachelor's Degree in Christian Education
in 2004!
I
pursued a degree in Christian Education to enhance another love
of mine, which is teaching through writing. I count it a blessing
to share with young people and families around the world, through
the topics God lays on my heart. I've been blessed to have my
articles published in several magazines, newsletters and websites.
God has opened every door, and I give Him thanks for each and
every opportunity.
I'm also
blessed to be a graphic/website designer for Titus
2 Ministry, Titus
2 Books, and Genteel
Girlhood. I absolutely love the work God has given me!
I keep very busy designing new pages for our websites and working
on the latest projects in progress. God is doing so many exciting
things; I can't wait to share them with you!

Genteel
Girlhood is a special ministry that I feel extremely
honored to be a part of. One of my heart's desires is first
of all to see young women come to the saving
knowledge of Christ. Secondly, I desire to encourage them
to realize their worth and value in Christ. Thirdly,
I pray that God uses me as an instrument to inspire them to
revolutionize their world, by being an outstanding example of
Biblical, Christian womanhood! Remember, "Ye are the
light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be
hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel,
but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are
in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they
may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in
heaven." Jn 5:14-16

Shine
On!
Emilee
Arise,
shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen
upon thee. Isaiah 60:1
And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament;
and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever
and ever. Daniel 12:3
Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom
of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. Matthew
13:43
